New ED Drug Stendra given the Go Ahead by US FDA
US drug development company Vivus has been given permission to market Stendra. Stendra is a prescription drug used to help men with erectile dysfunction.

Vivus’s shares soared when they were given the go ahead to market Stendra and estimated annual sales for Stendra were placed at $300 million.

Word wide erectile dysfunction drugs have exceeded sales of $5 billion

Vivus are a biopharmaceutical company, who research and develop medication to help people suffering from obesity, discovering why many people suffer from poor sleeping patterns, development with medication to help with diabetes, and their recent break through Stendra to help men suffering with erectile dysfunction problems. The current medications available on the market are Viagra, Levitra or Cialis, this elite range is now to be joined by Stendra, giving the 30 million men suffering from erectile dysfunction in the US and a larger number worldwide, more choice deciding which treatment is best suited for them.

Stendra appears to have one major factor in its favour, over its largest rival Viagra. Viagra takes 30 minutes for a man to achieve an erection, Stendra is said to take only 15 minutes.

Vivus are currently in talks with prospective partners who are in the field of marketing. With the correct knowledge and business advice Stendra could be marketed worldwide.

Erectile dysfunction can be a very distressing problem for many men, causing relationship difficulties and often causing the sufferer to have a very low self-esteem. There can be a number of factors that can cause ED and anyone suffering from erectile dysfunction should always consult their doctor.

Erectile dysfunction is a common problem and most men throughout their lives may have the occasional time when they cannot achieve an erection, this could be because they are tied, stressed, distracted or have had too much to drink. More seriously, erectile dysfunction may be the first sign of an underlining heart condition, even men suffering from mild cases of ED can have up to 25% higher risk of heart disease.

Looking after your heart by making even small changes to your lifestyle will not only give you a healthy heart it can also help to make you feel happier, less stressful, give you more energy, and help with the prevention of erectile dysfunction. Research has proven men who are less physically active are more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction, than men who are more physically active.
